Given the price and the fact it’s a WinRAR-style model, I really don’t mind ST being paid.

Interesting! I tried Zed too, and not knowing Sublime, I switched to it instead after a while…

I’m not sure why though. I do not have the issue you do, but Sublime feels better.

OP said “how can a child that can't even walk yet have the practice to know how to skip the ads.” A two year old should definitely know how to walk. Obviously you will not have it strutting around in a store, but it should know how to walk.

Also I don’t let my two year old near screens on her own, and generally do not allow screen time at all, but she absorbs things at a pace which is incredible. If I were to “skip ads” in front of her, I’d only have to do it around twice for her to be able to do it on her own…

Nitpick: It’s written Xcode. Lowercase c.

This is not true either. At some point you had to pay. But it’s been a long time since they made it free (with caveats).

No. You can upload your apps on your iPhone for free. You just need an Apple ID.

Funny review, which gets serious at the end.

I don’t think adding things to markdown is a good way to go. Markdown is just a poor language, period. Alternatives like Asciidoc make much more sense IMHO.

Where are you? In France it is 109€ on <apple.com> (w/o Apple Care).

Finland.

Finland has a VAT of ~25%. The price you are seeing includes that tax. Apple doesn’t control how much a country charges in tax. The price for a new battery is 70.9 up to 109 Euro without VAT

In France the price should include the tax too.

> The regulation states that batteries must be removable using ‘commercially available’ tools

I’m pretty sure that’s more or less already the case, so…
